I build the systems that other people are going to use. I hardly ever see them once they're operational because by then, I have moved on to the next project.

Every day is like a birthday because new boxes of cool toys often show up and I get to unpack them, configure them for first time use, make them work and I often get to recommend what I believe in to customers.

It's an awesome feeling to know that a system that has your signature on is being used at a major event or in a 24 / 7 facility with millions of viewers

I also get to visit trade shows in various countries on a regular basis
